The Left Bank Bar and Restaurant, 33-35 Gibson Street, Glasgow, G12 8NU have now been awarded the prestigious Good Food Award for 2020. Over the last twelve months we have evaluated customer feedback and these premises have demonstrated exceptional levels of food quality, service and value when compared to our industry benchmarks in their category.
In recognition of this achievement they have been duly awarded the 2020 Good Food Award.
The left bank is located in the heart of glasgow’s west end, a stone’s throw from kelvingrove park park and just down the hill from the university of glasgow, the mackintosh house and the hunterian gallery and museum.
we sell delicious home cooking all day starting early with our breakfasts which are reommended by the new york times no less. our light and airy bar and restaurant is well known locally, convenient for anything from a well made coffee to a soup and sandwich or a table full of our delicious small plates.
the drinks on offer are equally creative, our homemade cordials make refreshing spritzers, a welcome addition to the run of the mill soft drink choice. cocktails both classic and quirky, scottish craft beer, bottled and draught, a carefully chosen list from around the world of wine and of course, the water of life, there are a few drams of excellent whisky on offer.
