We’ve been eating at Shillingford’s when we can since their opening night. The variety of dishes is amazing and the quality consistently good. The incorporation of freshly foraged produce, often new to us, adds an extra inteterest and surprise. The front of house is always cheerful and informative, and you’re never rushed. Always full so never lacking in atmosphere, though it can get quite load on occaisions!
On our recent visit the Lobster Bisque was the standout dish, followed by Mead battered Oyster mushrooms; Hare & Elderberry Pate, a delicious fillet of Brill. As usual we finished off by sharing their Cheese Board with all tle lovely little accompaniments. A special thanks for introducing us to Seedlip Garden 108 !!!
