Following feedback from both our fan base and existing award holders we are pleased to announce the introduction of our Gold Seal, to our 2015 awards collection.  This highly revered accolade sits alongside our prestigious and well renowned Good Food Award.

The Gold Seal is our highest accolade that we at the Good Food Award issue and can only be attained by Good Food Award holders who have attained our award status for three consecutive years or more.

Every year we assess the food of eating establishments throughout the United Kingdom.  We do this by analysing customer feedback in terms of food quality, service and value.  We then apply a score to each attribute and apply multipliers based on competition and local population amongst other factors.  We then categorise each establishment in terms of Fine Dining, Restaurant, Takeaway, Café etc and rank each eatery within each category.  Only the very best performing establishments can appear in the Good Food Award and only when an establishment has met this rigorous process for three or more consecutive years can they achieve our Gold Seal.

Up to an including our 2014 awards programme no establishment has achieved this status and we look forward to welcoming new arrivals to this highly revered accolade throughout 2015 and beyond.
